Miscellaneous Professional Errors & Omissions

Geo. F. Brown & Sons, Inc. is pleased to offer a variety of other Professional Liability products that are related to the real estate industry.  The majority of these are written on a non-admitted basis.  You can review the policy wording and print the application for completion at your convenience.   These Professional Liability products are written by a variety of carriers.

Appraisers

Coverage is available for a variety of appraisers, including real estate, machinery & equipment, fine arts, collectibles and jewelry. Generally a resume of the appraiser is required. A specimen Appraisal Report is required for commercial appraisers an those who do collectibles.  Coverage for Assessors in low population areas is also available. 

General Liability is also available for this class.

Auctioneers

Coverage is available for firms that auction almost any type of product, excluding livestock.  A resume is required for a firm quote.

Consultants

Coverage is available for a variety of consultants including tax management, marketing, training, communications and those that do human resource work.  This product is not available for engineering consultants, safety consultants or financial/investment advisors.

General Liability is generally available for this class.

Home Inspectors and Insurance Inspectors   

Coverage is available for ASHI and NAHI members, candidates and other home inspectors who have completed sufficient training.  Coverage for WDI / termite inspections, lead paint and commercial inspections, are available.  (Coverage is also available for those firms that perform a small amount of Commercial Inspections - usually less than 10% of all services provided).  A resume is to be submitted with the application.

Mortgage Brokering and Mortgage Banking

Coverage is available for firms that perform a variety of Mortgage Banking or Mortgage brokering operation.  This product is very flexible and can be tailor maid to the client's specific needs.

Fidelity Bonds are also available for this class.

Title Agents, Abstractors, Public Records Searchers

Coverage is available for public record searchers for real estate titles, liens, tax delinquencies, court judgments, bankruptcy notices, divorce filings and auto and truck titles.

General Liability is available for Abstractors and Public Record Searchers.

You will find the various applications and forms at "Forms & Apps" at the top of the web page.  A dropdown box will then appear.  You then click on "Misc. E&O".  The products are presented in alphabetical order.
